Fortune Island

Fortune Island was once a luxury island resort, but now it is now just an abandoned island with a few crumbling structures. This lies 14km off the coast of Brgy. Bucana in Nasugbu Batangas. However, this does not diminish the natural beauty that the island offers. In fact, one of these structures, called the Acropolis from the Acropolis of Athens, is the island’s current main attraction.

The islands’ main features are the Greek inspired structure of Acropolis in Athens. its pristine beach with its semi-fine white sand and of course its beautiful turquoise water. Surely you will never run out of things to do for a day in the island.Fortune Island’s Acropolis stands on a rocky cliff that juts out into the water. Many visit the island to take photos by this crumbling structure that is an imitation of the famous ancient citadel in Greece.

Here are the things you need to do in the Island.

– Cliff jumping

– Snorkeling

– Hiking to the Lighthouse

-Camping overnight

– Photo ops at the Greek inspired structure of Acropolis.

The best time to visit is between the months of February and May because the waters to cross by boat will be calmer.

“An abandoned resort island off the coast of Nasugbu, Batangas. An hour boat ride and we were welcomed by an amazing view. It was also the first time they tried the beanboozled challenge and they did not disappoint with their hilarious reactions. With the strong winds bellowing, it made our night fun… Sunrise was epic. The sea glistened under the sun. Can’t wait to go back!”
