Vhon Tanto, the suspect in the road rage killing of cyclist Mark Vincent Geralde and also injured a bystander who was hit by bullets allegedly from his gun, has been turned over to Manila police Saturday morning. The suspect arrived at the Manila Police District at 6:52 a.m., following an overnight trip from Masbate.
A man tried to throw a punch at Tanto but missed. He is expected to undergo inquest proceedings for murder and frustrated murder charges after booking.
Present at the Manila Police District were PNP Chief Director General Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa, Public Attorney’s Office (PAO) chief Persida Acosta and Geralde’s family.
